When we went to the Tunbridge Fair, we went up to the history hill. First, we got to see people make axes like they did in the olden days. Then we got to see this guy that was making toys out of wood. He was making it like they did in the olden days. He was trying to carve one of the things you hold a stick and there’s a string and a ball. You try to get the ball on the stick. I think it’s really fun for a little kid. I liked the fair.
I liked the toy he made, too. My favorite part was the quilt making, and I liked watching the candle making. Have you ever tried sewing a quilt, or making a candle?
It was fun seeing the toymaker making the toys. I have not made a quilt or candle. I would like to try.
