It rains a few inches a year.

It can snow in the desert!

Cactuses store water inside them.

 

Two questions I have for the author:

How do cactuses grow with thorns?

Is the water in the cactus good to drink?

 

One thing that I thought was the most interesting:

I didn’t know that it sometimes snows in the desert.
